The Saffir-Simpson Classification System for Hurricanes
The Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale is a measurement scale ranging from 1 to 5 of hurricane wind and ocean surge intensity. Category 1 is a weak hurricane whereas Category 5 is the most intense.
